Our School Council members were delighted to get involved with creating a School Time Capsule, which will be stored under the new floor boards in St. Tierney’s Church. We included items that we hope will give future Roslea residents a glimpse of what life was like for us in school in 2026, such as a school jumper, tin whistle, current newsletter, photos and certificates, samples of work, school pencils, children’s version of the Irish News and a St. Brigid’s Cross. The boys and girls were proud to present it to Fr Chester to make sure it was placed securely underneath the new floorboards. When it will be opened up again remains to be seen!
