On Wednesday7th January, Primary 5 kicked off the New Year with a trip to Armagh Planetarium. The pupils really enjoyed the immersive experience of travelling through space, learning about different planets within the Solar System. The children were also given the opportunity to make, fuel and launch their own rockets, this was lots of fun an experience either they or Mrs Kelly will ever forget. The pupils ended the day looking and playing in the space themed playroom and space gallery, pupils were able to dress up and imagine being real life astronauts. A super day of fun and laughter bringing the out of this world topic (space) to an end for this year.
