P5 and 6 have been learning about how we commemorate Mary, the mother of Jesus, during the month of May. We decided to make the most of the beautiful sunshine and get outside to create our own memorial for Our Lady by making a street art adaptation of a May altar with chalk. We each were responsible for a different area and worked together to cover the whole space of the path. We are so proud of how it turned out!
We have also been learning how to pray Hail Mary, as Gaeilge, every day during the month of May to honour Mary.
