P5/6 Awesome Angles

P6 thought Mrs McElroy had lost her marbles when they saw their tables covered in masking tape this afternoon. All became clear as we learnt how to measure the angles created by the tape with protractors.

We discussed the scale on the protractor and estimated the approximate size of the angle and then used our protractor to get an accurate measurement. 

P5 went on an angle hunt around the school grounds, looking for right angles, as well as acute, obtuse and reflex angles. 

It was great fun and we learnt lots.
