We have been learning all about 2D shapes. We revised the shapes we already know from P4 and learned some new shapes. We now know what a quadrilateral is and what makes an irregular polygon irregular. As an end of the week challenge we made an animal tangram. A tangram is a Chinese puzzle consisting of only seven flat shapes. We had to make sure the pieces did not overlap and rotated them around until they resembled an animal of our choice.
We definitely rose to the challenge!
