P4 Beekeeping Session

P4 have enjoyed learning about local honey bees as part of their work on Minibeasts. They were delighted to welcome our resident beekeeper Paul in to the classroom to help them with their learning. They were able to see a video of his bees at work, get hands on with one of the hives and see how the honey is made and collected. They also got to taste some raw honey and try on the beekeepers suit. Fantastic hands on learning for all. Thank you Paul for sharing your time and expertise!
