Maths Week in P3/4

Primary 3 and 4 have made a great start to Maths Week. We went on a Scavenger hunt in the school grounds and found leaves, sticks and flowers. We counted them and discussed the size, colour and texture of the various objects. We then had great fun arranging them according to size. Afterwards, we looked at the range of trees and estimated how many leaves and branches might be on some of them. To finish off the lesson we brought our leaves inside and made some very colourful and beautiful leaf rubbings.
