We have had an orangutan filled week. We have been researching facts about orangutans, discussing the ‘There’s an orangutan in my bedroom’ advertisement, talking about the effects of palm oil usage and deforestation are having on the Rainforest animals, especially the majestic, innocent orangutans. We also drew pictures of orangutans. We feel so passionate about this topic we decided to write persuasive letters to the Prime Minister persuading him to take action to save the orangutans! Mrs McElroy is so proud of our letter writing skills.
